Today we had our english class from 11:20 to 12:05. First we checked our homework and for it we had to answer some questions of our new unit. This homework was very important because we do many mistakes at our tests and because of that homework we lose some points because some of my classmates can't make proper questions. After that exercise we reapeted last school program -past continuous. At the end the teacher also gave us homework. The first lesson on our timetable was English. We were all very tired and sleepy, because it was still very early.When the teacher came into the class we welcomed her. Together we reviewed our homework. When we finished with it our teacher wrote a few sentences on the blackboard and then we needed to write the questions, because in the test we didn't do that very well. When we finished we reviewed all. Then she had to go out of class and we needed to do some exercises on Past continuous Tense. When we finished she came back. Than we listened a video and in map we should write where were children last day. It was great fun and interesting. 10 minutes before the end of lesson she gave us some exercises in workbook that we should do by the end of holidays. We also agreed for a lesson that we had on Tuesday. We will sing and enjoy ourselves because it will be the last lesson before holidays. EVA P. 8.B class

First we came to the classroom and played. And our teacher had a birthday. So we sang a song for her and congratulated her . It was a good lesson. We built tales about venichle accidents and watched videos on youtube. We learnt many new things. Some of them were really terrible tales. Our teacher brought cookies and chocolate. It was a fun and relaxed our. Then we copied tales into nootebooks because our teacher going to ask them for mark.

Today was a special day for eight classes. At school we were learning about stars, planets and universe. We came to school at half past eight and went to a Maths class. There was a big balloon. We went in it and watched a short film about stars. We were on the floor and it was like we were looking stars in the nature. It was very interesting and we all wanted to go in again. Then we had breakfast. And after it we went to a Geography class, where we watched another short film about planets and Sun. It was also very interesting and we saw a short part about people in the space (astronauts). Next was making our own rocket. We made it of two bottles and selotape. After we did it we were making our planets of a material. Then we went out and did an experiment with a rocket. Last Thursday as usual, we had English on schedule. It was our 3rd hour that day. Teacher arived in class and said hello to us. We stand up answered with ''good morning'' and started with school hour of English. We were hoping that we would check our homework, but it wasn't teacher's idea for that day. She started to check our English knowledge, and we wern't the most happy about it. She invited infront of the table everyone who didn't have mark yet. First we waited for our teacher to start the lesson. Then our teacher reviewed the correction tests. Then we reviewed the homework. In the book we did some exercises for pronunciation, word stress, noun plurals, Conjunction with and, and also rising and / or a falling Intonation. We also learned about homophones and homonyms words. On the board, we also wrote a word and translated it, wrote a new sentence and definition. We also had to fill 4 new words into our dictionary and that is how our lesson finished. Petra 8.b

We started with English at 7.40. At the begining a teacher gave us our tests. We were nervous. We did well, but teacher said that it could be better. Then we had two presentations. The first was Manca and the second was Katja. They had good presentations and told us something new about shopping habits. After that we had to do some exercises in our books. Tuesday was very interesting day. I will show you our lesson of English. It started, when our teacher came in. First she wrote something in her diary, and then we had presentations. First I told something about shopping habits in past and today, and shopping habits in the world. I made interview with my grandma, so it wasn’t from internet. My presentation was 5 minutes long and then schoolmates asked me a few questions. Second was Žana. She told us something about shopping habits in her family and in China. It was very interesting, because she told us something new. Ant the third was Ptricija. But she hadn’t got presentation, so she will have it next Monday. After that we got test for try, because next Tuesday we have got test. But I found out, that I have to study, because I didn’t know a lot of things. I hope, that we will write well. Hello! Today we had another English lesson. At the beginning we listened to two speeches about shopping habits. The second one was very good and interesting and the first one wasn't bad either. Then we got a sheet of paper with assignments on it. We couldn't finish it on time, so that was our homework. We also had to write four unknown English words for our homework. Today the teacher came to class 5minutes later. Because she had to told to whole school something on microphone, teacher was talking about English test. Than she came to classroom. She had to check something on her computer. And after this she told me to represent my speech rehearsal. When I finished she told me that it was great and I didn't had any mistakes. And my speach went smoothly. But I didn't get 5 because I shoud talk about other nations. How they shop. And after me it was Nik's turn and he was good too. But he had mistakes just like me. On Thursday we had English. First we came to the classroom and played. Then came the teacher and we said ˝Good morning˝. After that, she told us that she is going to mark our knowledge. I was very scared,because I wasn't ready for that, but then she called my name. I got a bad grade because I wasn't prepared,but I wasn't too sad, because I know I deserved it. TECHNICAL DAY We had a tehnical day in Jesenice. We went there at 7:45 am. We came to Jesenice in 30 minutes. Then we went to their high school and where we made a product of steel. Then we saw how to make a chess figure. After two hours, we went to their museum and there we saw how to make steel. After an hour we came back to Medvode. Nik 8.B

MY BLOG , MONDAY 22.10.2012 The second hour on our timetable was English lesson. Teacher was a little bit late because she had to do some things in the School's Office.. When she came back she told me to write a blog. And Peter had to write on the blackboard about the one word she chose. And then she explained to us our new topic. I is named: reflexive pronouns. We did some examples in our notebooks. Examples: I hurt myself. You didn't wash yourself properly. Fiona dances by herself… And then we played a game. Everyone had to show and tell what they like to do. It was lots of fun. Then we had to do some tasks in our books. 10 minutes before the end of the lesson she went out of class. My Blog We were at the English class at 10:25 and we were all a little bit tired, because we started at 7:40. Teacher told Žana to write about this word: put up with. And she told me to write a blog. Teacher told us to do some dialoges with your class mate. She also explained how to do it. After this we listened to a recording about 1 task in the book. Then we had to read Grammar time out. It is about noun plurals with f example: wife--> wives, loaf --> loaves, wolf --> wolves. We didn't have to write it because it isn't so hard to remember. She also told us a story about king Henry the 8th. This is what I remember about the story: He had 6 wives. Because he wanted a son, because he needed the next king and there were no queens in that time. So he needed a boy child. After this story she said we must do some worksheet in our workbooks. Today we first checked our homework. It took us a lot of time to do that. Next we did the exercise 12 in our exercise books, when we finished, we checked it. Then we drew the refigerator in our notebooks and we asked our neighbours about its content. Monday 8th of October Today was a very funny lesson of English. First we had to talk with our schoollmates about our weekend. We had to tell what we did and what we studied,but I found out, that everyone had fun. I also heard what Patricija did at the weekend. Then we cheched our homework about Countable and Uncountable nouns. We had to do 3 pages of exercises. Our homework was not so difficult, because we understood it. But we also saw, that we will have to study about it. After that we had to draw a fridge with open door and it that fridge we had to draw food like in the book. But our lesson finished quickly and we didn't do all the work. So for the homework we had to do this. And tomorrow we will make dialogues like this: Sudent 1:Is there any cheese in the fridge? Student 2:Yes,there is some cheese in the fridge or there is not any cheese in the fridge. I am sure,that we will have fun!

On Tuesday we had English. We took new unit. It was UNIT 1 - SHOPPING - The call of the Mall. I thought we had a lot of fun. We drew the Mall. Hello! Today we had an english lesson. It was the second lesson in this school year. At the beginning we got a sheet of paper with an asigment. It was an exercise before the revision test. We wrote the instructions in our notebooks and while we were doing that we noticed that we all forgot the past simple tense. So we checked it on the computer. And then we finished writing the instructions. After that we watched a video about past simple on Youtube. For homework we had to write four unknown eEglish words, translate them in to Slovene, write their definitions in English and use them in sentences. The teacher came in class and we said:«good day« to each other. We also checked our homework from yesterday. Then Ciril was graded. Ciril had questions about irregular verbs. If we found any unknown word, we had to wrote it in our book, we had to translate it, and explain it. We came to the classroom and began with English. The teacher gave us the papers and then we began to work. There was a lot of questions. Some of them were very hard to translate, but I help myself with dictionary. I found also some new words and I wrote them into the notebook. Me and Andraž we helped each other. And there we had a problem, Mateo was yelling that she said she is grading tomorrow on Friday, and everybody (classmates) supported him. Finally we got our point… then we did exercises in wordbooks. English class started at twenty past eleven. First our teacher asked us what we have already done today. We found out that we have all washed our teeth but neither of us has made coffee for their parents.
Together we did exercises 3a, 3b and 4 about our chores in books. We had to use Present perfect. I already knew about this tense before because of my english course, but some of my classmates have problems with it because it's quite different from the tenses we have learnt in past years.
Then we checked our homework in workbooks (exercises 14a and 14b on page 90). We also made exercise 15: we had to put sentences in present perfect in an affirmative, negative and interrogative form.
We had only about 10 minutes left , so we did some exercises on the interactive board together. We also read a short description about Loch Ness and the monster Nessie and had to put missing verbs in the text.
I think today's lesson was fun and I'm sure many of my classmates learnt a lot today.

ENGLISH LESSON

Today we were talking about The Trojan war. First we were watching a trailer of the film. Then we went to the books and checked who of the Greeks or theTrojans loves, likes or hates. Today we were doing a poster about solidarity concert. We were in groups. I was with Domen and Gašper. I think we made a good poster. But some pupils weren't doing this. They were doing something from the smartboard. Then the teacher hung up our posters. I liked today's lesson.

My Strange Dream

When I sleep I rarely dream. But one night I was dreaming one strange dream and I want to tell you about it. I was sleeping when suddenly I started to dream. Everything happened in our house that transformed into a church. Our family went into it. There were a lot of people so we couldn’t sit. Then suddenly we were back outside, on the way which was leading to the church. My mum’s aunt walked to us and told us that Miss Adelaja disappeared. And my mum’s aunt was crying. Then we were back in a church. Father of three children was performing a mass. My younger brother was standing on an altar and talking to people but he couldn’t read so he talked to them about his problem that he couldn’t say letter R. I was very embarrassed because everybody knew he was my brother. Then our house transformed back into a house. We (our family) were sitting on the sofa and watching TV when suddenly our grandmother and grandfather came in our living room. We were talking about flowers and butterflies. Then somebody knocked on the doorframe and I went and looked who knocked. There was nobody just a bouquet of dark red roses. And I brought it to my grandmother and then suddenly roses were transforming into beautiful green butterflies. And they were afraid. So I opened the window and I let them go. Then my younger brother fell down of the sofa and broke his arm. And my father bandageed his arm and then my mother my father and my younger brother went to the doctor and the doctor examined my younger brother and said that he is ok. And then they went back home. Then my mother woke up me and my dream finished. And when I was dressing myself I forgot almost all my dreams.

One day I dreamed that I lived in Antarctica. I got there because I fell over a precipice and died here. I was born again in Antarctica. I was there as a man, and all seemed very strange. I also behaved as if I was a penguin. One day, I went with penguins to fish. We went on the ice, but because it was very thin ice, I fell into the cold water. Then I woke up.

A Strange Dream

Me and my friend were in city, then somebody started shooting. We started to run. My friend had a gun. Suddenly a man shoot my friend and he died. I took his gun and started to run. I hid myself behing the building, and started shooting. Somebody called the police. SWAT team came and started shooting with AK-47 that guy. That man shot me in my arm. I was taken to a hospital. SWAT team started shooting at that man, but the man didn’t want to surrender. The police started to takek people away from the shooting place. A helicopter started shooting towards the man too. Then I woke up.

A Strange Dream

I was dancing in a club with my friends. We were having a lot of fun. Suddenly a UFO crashed into club. We got scared and we started to scream. We started to run around the club and many people ran home. But me and my friends stayed there. We couldn’t move. It was like they froze us. We were very scared, but we couldn’t do anything. They came to us and they were small, green and slippery. They said something. We realised, that they were speaking our language. Somehow I saved myself and ran away from them. Later I wanted to save my friends too. Nobody followed me so I ran to my home. I tried to call the police, but the telephone wires were cut. I ran back to the club, so they couldn’t see me. I didn’t know how to save my friends. I came there and saw they were walking and dancing with that strange beings. I went in and they said “Hello!” to me. They told me, that they came in peace and that they didn’t want to scare us. We all started to dance and we called other people too. Those strange beings became popular in our town.

Then my mom woke me up and said to me: “It’s time for school.”

A Strange Dream

I was running in a dark tunnel. I was very scared. I heard something behind me. I looked for what it was. There was a snake behind me. Then I saw light ahead of me. I started to run fast. The snake caught up with me. I fell on to the floor. The snake jumped on me and killed me. I woke up. I was in my room. I turned on the light. I saw a bear in my room. I got out of bed. I started to run. I went to the kitchen and hid in a closet. The bear opened a closet and found me. I hit the bear with a pan and the bear fell on the floor. I ran to the door and tried to unlock the door, but the key was broken. I ran downstairs. The bear was behind me. I tripped and fell to the floor. Then I woke up again. I found myself lying on the floor.

One night I saw a dark shadow, and I didn’t know who it was. I was so scared and I didn’t know what to I do. Suddenly it roared at me and I went to search for keys, but I didn’t find them so quickly and the monster came very close to me. Then I found the keys and I ran to the garage. I took my bike and I started cycling. Suddenly I saw a gap, but I couldn’t stop because the brakes failed. I was screaming and I fell down in a gap. I was hurt and I was in need for medical attention. Then I went to the lake and when I came there, I saw a monsterfish as big as a house. It wanted to eat me. I started to run away, but I fell in the river. I started to swim, but I didn’t move anywhere. Then the fish came to me and ate me. In the fish's stomach I started searching for a way to escape. But... the only way out was through its mouth. So I started searching for the weapons to break the fish's teeth. I found a piece of glass and I cut the fish. It started coughing and I ran away. Then I woke up and started my day like usually.

My Strange Dream

One night I had a strange dream. The evening before I watched a funny movie. I went to bed but I couldn’t sleep so I started to think about the movie. Finally I fell asleep. In my dream I woke up in a forest made out of sweets. I didn’t know where I was so I sat down on a stump. Suddenly I heard a voice. It was a little cute beaver. He told me where I was and why I was here. He answered a lot of my questions but I had many more to ask. We walked about fifteen minutes when we saw a big road. Cars in rainbow colours were driving by. A blue car came and picked us up. We were driving along the road and went into a tunnel. When we came out of the tunnel everything changed. Suddenly I was sitting in a carriage. Next to me was sitting a girl about my age. She saw that I was scared so she explained what happened. We were driving through a forest when robbers attacked us. The carriage shook. Suddenly I woke up. It was my dad that was shaking me to wake me up. This was the weirdest dream I ever had.

A STRANGE DREAM

One evening when I went to bed I was having a dream. I was performing in the film. I had to deactivate the bomb. I had just one try. Many innocent lives were endangered. I was starting to deactivate the bomb. Many people were crying and hoping that I will deactivate the bomb. I was starting to deactivate the bomb and I cut the green wire but the time in the bomb did not stop. Next wire I was cutting the red one and the bomb exploded. Then I woke up.

A Strange Dream

I was sitting in my dad’s car and driving down the road. Suddenly the car got very fast and couldn’t stop. I noticed that the gap was close. I didn’t know what to do. I wanted to jump out the window but it didn’t open. I wanted to break it.. Suddenly me and chair drifted into the sky. For quite some time I was flying between the birds and the clouds and when I flew up to a certain point, the chair began to land. First I noticed that I was going back to the ground and then I heard the noise of the water. A few second later I was getting full speed down to the water and worked so hard to stay up in the strong river. Like all rivers, this also has a waterfall. which, I noticed a little too late, because yI was already drifting in it.. Finally the river became a bit calmer so I could swim out of it and so, my nightmare ended well

A Strange Dream

One night I was so tired I fell asleep very quickly. Sometime at night my dream started. I was in a very large room without a ceiling. The walls were covered in black and white tiles but the floor was completely white. It was so clean it was shining. I had never seen anything as white as that floor and probably will never again. Suddenly a long black snake appeared right next to me. I somehow knew it was poisonous and started running away from it. Instead of staying away from me like any normal snake would, it came after me. I was running and running, but I didn’t get anywhere. Suddenly I was somewhere above the room watching myself runnig around the room. I can’t explain how I felt, it’s a feeling you have to experience for yourself if you want to know what exactly I mean. It was very strange to know I was running, but watching myself at the same time. Even though I didn’t see exactly who was running because all I saw was a black dot moving quickly across the spotless white floor with a long black line following it, I knew I was the black dot. All of a sudden the snake got too close, I didn’t have the bird's eye view any more. I was back in the room. While I was trying to get away from the snake, the walls started to close in. The room rapidly grew smaller and smaller. The snake jumped at my leg and sunk his fangs into it. I didn’t feel any pain because just when the snake bit me, I woke up.

One day I dreamt that I was in my room. I looked around the room and screamed. Everything was covered in blood.
I ran out and wanted to see if mom and dad were OK. I went to the kitchen dinning room, living room. I looked in every corner of the basement but they weren't there. The last place I didn't look in yet was the bathroom. I slowly opened the door and there they were. Dead. I screamed again and woke up. I immediately ran into the room to make sure if they were there.
I was very happy that they were both alive and healthy.

I am going to describe you my strangest dreams.
I was a hedgehog and I was carrying apples and pears. I was running down a steep slope when I fell into the see. It was very cold. Somehow I got the fins. I swam to the surface. I was trying to get to the mainland, but one big fish grabbed my leg. It pulled my back into the sea. It wanted to eat my apples and pears. I tried to protect them, but I was too week and too small. But then came my rescuer. Another big fish. It was also very hungry so it wanted my fruit too, but first it had to eat the second fish. They started to fight. They slapped with their tails but nobody died. Finally one fish started to eat the second one. It grabbed its tail. And the second one also grabbed the first ones tail. They started to eat each other. They ate each other completely, so nothing was left. I was the happiest hedgehog. I swam to the surface. I got out of the sea and I went to my home.

I was very sleepy, so I left to bed early. I dreamed of how thieves broke into a house. They began to shoot and kill my family. I was kidnapped and I taken into their car. It was very scary like the witch’s house. I was asked where to get our money. But I just replied: I do not know. My mom woke me up because she heard my voices. She asked me: what was that? We went to the kitchen and there I told her what I had dreamed of. We ate breakfast and we went to the shopping mall. After shopping we went to grandma's for lunch. I am very happy that it was just a horrible dream. I am very happy because I have family near me.

One night I had strange dreams. It was Friday night. I was doing my homework. I went to bed. Then suddenly my brother came into the room and told me that we have visitors. I was surprised that we had visitors at that hour. I went into the kitchen. There were my mom, dad, my brother, my sister and aliens. I was in shock. They told me that we were relatives and that they came to celebrate my birthday. Aliens were responsible for birthday party, my mother for food and I was responsible for the guests. When my friend came to the party they were very surprised too. But eventually they got used and they had a lot of fun. I was very sad when aliens had to go. Every year they come and visit me for my birthday.

DREAMS

The most interesting thing about my dreams is that I have the same dream more than once. I make different stories in my head and every night I dream a new part of the story. The stories are always very exciting, weird and even romantic.
Well, I am going to describe one of the stories and it is about flying. I dreamed that I could fly; just like a bird. I had huge wings (just like swans), and they were shining in black and silver. I flew over seas (not the ones on the planet Earth, but seas full of different creatures, mountains, forests and the most beautiful buildings you could ever imagine. I stopped to say hello to Snow White and the elves. I saw Sleeping Beauty lying in her castle and the Prince, that wanted to rescue her. I had a lovely conversation with the unicorn. Every night I dreamed about beautiful sunsets and stars that shone as bright as they could. I was on my own and I was free – just like a bird.
Because we are talking about dreams, I want to mention a device (probably from America), that controls your dream. It is quite small, and I think you can buy it on the Internet. If you want to have a dream about flying pigs, you must choose what kind of sounds the device must make. You can even choose the smell of your dream. A bit weird, isn't it?

Often, when I watched a scary movie, I had a nightmare and I was unable to sleep. I was dreaming that I found myself in the role one of the main characters. This happened for the first time when I was five years old and I watched the Star Wars - Return of the Jedi.
During the dream, I saw the image of Lord Wader. I was scared. I heard his words which seemed very scary to me. Then I woke up and I went to the bathroom. When I returned to bed I was hoping that dreams would not repeat.
When I was sleeping the dream luckily didn't repeat and I was sleeping in peace.This time I dreamed that I was riding clouds.

One night I went to bed early, because my parents were watching a horror movie. They said this movie was too scary for me. I went to bed, but I didn’t sleep. I was thinking about the movie, but suddenly I fell asleep.
I was walking along the road, in my left hand I had a bar of chocolate, and in my right hand I had a bottle of beer. I went to school, when suddenly a three-headed monster appeared. It was red and scary. It took my bar of chocolate and ate it. I was really mad at that monster. I took that bottle and give it to the monster. It drank it. It started to dance. I went to the store near the school and bought myself a bar of chocolate. I went back to the monster: It was sleeping! I happily went to school, but when I entered the school I woke up with a chocolate in my hand.

I woke up at 5am because I heard strange sounds. I got dressed and went to the supermarket. There, near the market I saw a new black house. It was very scary and I went into the house. There I saw three ghosts. They were very scary and there I saw my best friend. I wanted to help him. He was very scared. I didn’t want to die that morning. I saved my friend with great effort and then I thought that was over. But every night ghosts were in my room. They were scaring me every single night….. and then I woke up. And I was very happy that it was over.

A strange dream

Last night I had a very unusual dream. I was dreaming about my Slovene lesson. Everything was normal until our strict Slovene teacher came into the class. We all started laughing because he was wearing only a shirt and shorts! He looked at us with a strange expression on his face: he was confused and surprised. He said loudly: »Why are you laughing at me? Is anything wrong?«
We were still smirking at him and the bravest of the students (my sister) answered: »Well, you aren't wearing any trousers …«
»Oh! I just lost them on the bus when I was going to work. And besides: it's sooo hot today!« Now that was a strange explanation - it was the coldest day of the winter.
»Don't you like my dotted underpants?« asked us the strange teacher. Nobody answered this time, we realized he doesn't feel uncomfortable wearing only underpants in winter at all.

At first, teacher gave us a lot of exercises. They were on the whiteboard. While we were copying these exercises into our notebooks, the teacher was grading.
She graded me, Filip, Primož, Ajda and Luka. We were asked about earthquakes, we had to describe a picture and we had to know the words from a paper that we got a couple of weeks ago and some other things.
The lesson was very good because we didn't have a lot of work to do and we were watching how the teacher was grading.
That day we also had Biology test. We all hope to get good grades.

One day I was walking my dog. We went to a forest because my dog likes walking in there. Just when I wanted us to go out he started to pull me deeper into the forest. So we went. He started to smell and pull so hard that I fell on the ground and I lost the guide rope. I quickly got up and started to run so I could catch him. Then he suddenly stopped. He was standing by a dead faceless body. I was so shocked that I couldn't move. Then the body woke up and broke my dog's legs and killed it. I started to kick that zombie in the head but it didn't harm it. Then it grabbed me and dragged me to a cave. It had many dead bodies in there. Then it took an axe and when he swang it towards me I woke up.
